Shipping, Returns and Warranty Policy

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Order Process

At Maison Aphrodite, each order is prepared with care and attention. Once your purchase is confirmed and payment is successfully processed, your bag is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. When your order is ready, it is handed over to our carrier for delivery.

Shipping Information

We deliver to Canada and the United States, directly to your door.

Shipping fees:

  • Quebec: $14.10 CAN (Standard: 3–5 business days) or $21.90 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
    Ontario: $18.10 CAN (Standard: 3–5 business days) or $21.90 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
    Rest of Canada: $20–$27 CAN depending on the province (Standard: 3–9 business days) or $28–$33 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
    The exact amount will be calculated automatically at checkout after entering your address.

    United States: $20–$26 CAN depending on the state (Standard: 4–8 business days) or $31–$35 CAN (Express: 2–3 business days)
    The exact amount will be calculated automatically at checkout after entering your address.

Delivery Times

Orders are processed and shipped within 3 to 5 business days after payment confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
Depending on your location and postal delays, delivery may take up to 14 business days in total.

The risk of loss or damage remains the responsibility of Maison Aphrodite until the package is received by the customer, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (section 38).

Cancellation Before Shipping

You may cancel your order at no cost as long as it has not yet been shipped. Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, the return policy below applies.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Conditions

If your purchase does not fully meet your expectations, you have 14 days from the date of receipt to request a return or exchange.

To be eligible, the product must:

  • Be in its original condition (unused, unworn, undamaged)

  • Have all original tags attached

  • Be returned in its original packaging

Non-returnable items: sale or promotional items, and gift cards.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of order error or defective products.

Return Procedure

Please email info@maisonaphrodite.ca and include:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for the return

1. Once approved, we will send you the return instructions and address.

2. After the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the original payment method. Processing times may vary by financial institution but will not exceed 15 business days after receipt of the product.

3. In the case of an exchange, the replacement item will be shipped once the return has been received.

If the item is defective or if there was an error in the order, Maison Aphrodite will cover the return shipping costs and send the correct product at no additional charge.

WARRANTY

Coverage

Our products are designed to last. If your bag shows a manufacturing defect or abnormal damage within 45 days of receipt, it will be covered by our commercial warranty.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects (stitching, zippers, hardware, lining)

  • Abnormal damage occurring during normal use

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scuffing, marks, softening of material or fabric)

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs, or accidental damage

  • Purchases made from unauthorized sellers or resale platforms

Warranty Claims

To submit a claim, please email info@maisonaphrodite.ca with:

  • A clear photo of the defect or damage

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • A brief description of the issue

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace the item

  • Offer an alternative appropriate solution

Requests are generally processed within 3 to 5 business days. If a return is required, instructions will be sent by email.

Return shipping costs are covered by Maison Aphrodite if the defect is confirmed. If the product does not meet warranty conditions, shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Legal Warranty (Québec)

This warranty is in addition to the legal warranty provided under sections 37 and 38 of the Québec Consumer Protection Act and sections 1726 and following of the Civil Code of Québec.
These provisions ensure that goods sold must be fit for their intended use and remain durable for a reasonable period, considering their price and conditions of use.

Limitation of Liability

The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. Maison Aphrodite shall not be held liable for indirect or incidental damages, such as loss of contents or temporary inability to use the bag.
