SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Order Process

At Maison Aphrodite, each order is prepared with care and attention. Once your purchase is confirmed and payment is processed, your bag is carefully packed to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Once your order is ready, it is handed over to our carrier for delivery.

Shipping Information

We deliver across Canada and the United States, directly to your door.

Quebec: $14.10 CAN (Standard: 3–5 business days) or $21.90 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
Ontario: $18.10 CAN (Standard: 3–5 business days) or $21.90 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
Rest of Canada: $20–$27 CAN depending on the province (Standard: 3–9 business days) or $28–$33 CAN (Express: 1–2 business days)
The exact amount will be calculated automatically at checkout after entering your address.

United States: $20–$26 CAN depending on the state (Standard: 4–8 business days) or $31–$35 CAN (Express: 2–3 business days)

Shipping fees are non-refundable for all orders placed on our website.

Delivery Time

Orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days after payment is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been shipped.
Depending on your region and postal delivery times, total delivery may take up to 14 business days.

The risk of loss or damage remains with Maison Aphrodite until the parcel is received by the customer, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (art. 38).

Cancellation Before Shipping

You may cancel your order free of charge as long as it has not been shipped. Once the package has been handed over to the carrier, the return policy below applies.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Conditions

If your purchase does not fully meet your expectations, you have 14 days starting from the day you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

To be eligible, the product must:

  • Be in its original condition (unused, undamaged)

  • Include all tags

  • Be returned in its original packaging

Not eligible: sale or promotional items, as well as gift cards.
Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of an incorrect order or defective product.

Return Procedure

1. Please email info@maisonaphrodite.ca with:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

2. After validation, we will provide you with instructions and the return address.

3. Once the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued within 5–10 business days, depending on the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary but will not exceed 15 business days after the product is received.

WARRANTY

Coverage

Our products are designed to last. If your bag has a manufacturing defect or abnormal breakage within 45 days of receipt, it is covered under our commercial warranty.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects (stitching, zippers, hardware, lining)

  • Abnormal breakage occurring during normal use of the bag

It does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (friction, marks, softening of leather or fabric)

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper care

  • Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or accidental damage

  • Purchases made through unauthorized sellers or resale platforms

Claim Procedure

To file a claim, email info@maisonaphrodite.ca with:

  • A clear photo of the defect or breakage

  • Your order number or purchase invoice

  • A brief description of the issue

Depending on the case, we may:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace it

  • Or offer another appropriate solution

Claims are processed within 3–5 business days on average. If a return is required, instructions will be provided via email.

Shipping costs for returns are covered by Maison Aphrodite if the defect is confirmed. If the product does not meet warranty conditions, return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

Legal Warranty (Quebec)

This warranty is in addition to the legal warranty provided in articles 37 and 38 of the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and articles 1726 et seq. of the Civil Code of Quebec.
These provisions ensure that any sold good must be fit for its intended use and last a reasonable period given its price and conditions of use.

Limit of Liability

The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product. Maison Aphrodite cannot be held responsible for indirect or incidental damages, such as loss of the bag’s contents or temporary inability to use it.
